Aside from these sources of funding, Schorer could not exist without individual donors. The generous support of individual donors enables Schorer to develop new projects for which no other means are available.
DonorsSchorer is officially recognised by the Dutch tax authorities as an Institution for General Benefit (ANBI). A donation to Schorer is therefore tax-deductible. For legacies and gifts deeded to Institutions for General Benefit, a special tax rate of 0 per cent is valid for the amount given.

Schorer is also open to alternative forms of fundraising such as corporate sponsoring, collections to commemorate a special anniversary or other special collections.
WillThere are different ways of leaving money to Schorer upon one’s death.
- By means of a legacy: a deeded gift from a person’s estate. The donor stipulates an amount for Schorer in his or her will.
